All our hats are made of cotton and covered with a wax shith. On the one hand, this makes them flexible so that you can bend the brim as you like and, on the other hand, it is water-repellent. Especially the "fishing hats" with a cord under the chin are great for surfing or days on the boat or at the sea. The heavy brim is not pushed up by the (travel) wind and protects against sun or rain even in more extreme conditions.
